Responsabile: Vanessa Macchia; in collaborazione con Reinhard Tschiesner
Durata: novembre 2013-maggio 2015
The main pursue of this research project is to raise the integration of children with disabilities in the infant care in South Tyrol and it is therefore to illuminate the reasons for a visit or non visit of the “Institution toddler care” for children aged 0-36 months.
Above all, it’s about the question, if a toddler care for the family, especially for a mother, could be a discharge and also an aid in the formation, care and education of children with disabilities and also if there are suitable basic conditions, if this option of toddler caring will or will not be taken into consideration.
The elevation of the qualitative aspects (reasons, satisfaction ecc.) in this context very important.
With the help of three groups should be raised, what distinguishes mothers, who opted for the toddler care type of nursing. The main focus will be on how they are doing, what is their emotional experience, their life satisfaction, but also the coping strategies of this mothers and how this turns back and also affects the use of the services and the qualitative aspects.
The main aim is to raise empirical data on the status quo of mothers, whose children have a disability. As to date, such data are not yet available, so we will use an exploratory approach.
